Live For Speed Live for speed, shortly LFS, is among the very succesfull racing simulators. Unfortunately, Skoda brand is missing again in the available cars. I was looking for an editor at forums, but I never found it. I found even rumors that the cars are hardcoded in the game and there will be never any car editor for live for speed...
...let me see...
Thanks to a couple of attempts I identified data files, where cars are stored. During the next two days I discovered most meaning of the contents. I have successfully exported models from game. I am definitely on the right way, now it is time to start working on the editor.
I have prepared 130RS in 3D Studion for the first tests
I made 3D view to the editor and changed couple of key things.
First test import to the LFS
"I would like" does not mean anything... "I want" can do even impossible ! Again, I spent a few hours on the creation of LFS CAR EDITOR
Close to midnight I made the first test car import
And jump into little race
It is just a test car, it is necessary to improve both the model and the skin. But definitely I am on the right way...

Still missing to complete the interior and a couple of small things, and our 130RS will be ready for race :)
Jednou si tu napsal,že :Pokud někdy dám editor, RSo a ostatní škodovky pro LFS ke stažení, bude LFS nejspíš už dávno za horizontem ,ale to se asi jen tak nestane vím,že je to tvůj miláček,ale ostatní se chcou taky občas pomazlit,

Základ 130RS jsem kreslil ve 3Dmaxu. To je modelovací program. Ten ale neumí export do LFS. Pro export jsem si napsal vlastní program (tady je vidět na screenshotech), kde se nastaví potřebné parametry a vlastnosti prvků, a poté se to ukládá jako VEH formát pro LFS.
Nazdar Dave mohl bys mi prosimte napsat jak se jmenuje ten editor ve kterem si delal to eReSo . Ja sem si sehnal podobny nakreslil sem si skodu 105 ale nejdemi dostat do lfs. Dik adam.pustejovsky@centrum.cz
