 Story :
 Replacing the sills on Rapid is a bit more difficult than replacing sills on 110R, because at the back the sills become mud guards. The problem is, that if replacing, then the whole length. There is no point changing just a part of it. So first of all, it is good to consider, what exactly we want to replace. Usually it is the whole sill, and whilst being at it, it wont hurt to replace or fix the stiffener too.
 Lets begin by buying the right car parts

 As the 120 Skoda´s intermediate stiffeners and sills are more available and also cheaper, I chose to buy these. The sill does not fit exactly, but after cutting the rear part of it off and welding the middle support post, it can do the job quite nicely. . 
 It will be easier to replace the sill, if we take the doors and the front bumper off. So first we dismantle the door and the bumper. The old sill goes next. Easiest way is to undo the individual spot welds. You need to either buy a special drill for this, or like me, you can make it yourself. Using the angle grinder we even up a drill straight and we only leave the tip and the stumps on the sides.

 Cut the whole sill and damaged parts of the stiffener out. At the back the stiffener is spot welded onto the stiffener behind the rear tapík. As this could catch a fire from welding, it will be better ,for safety reasons, to remove it first. You need to decide if you are going to cut the sill off below or above the spot of welding. I chose above.

 Replace the damaged parts by new ones and spot weld them in.

 Prepare for spot welding the whole sill on. If you bought the 120 S sill, cut the middle post and then the whole rear side right to the bum off. Take a part of the cut off rear side and weld it on as a new middle post. Measure it and try it first.

 And by spot welding, weld it on. If you chose to remove the old spot welds which were attaching the sill to the stiffener, you should weld the sill not only to the mudguard, but weld it also to the stiffener. Alternatively, you could possibly weld from the inside.

 Now all we have left is to put a putty on and spray-paint it over.
